Once you've completed all the information and file uploads for the version you want to release, you can submit it for review. After submission, ZEPETO App will be officially released when the review is completed.

The review process is divided into the following stages: Submitted → Under review → Released (or rejected).

Manage Release

Release Method

Before submitting for review, you can manage your release schedule by setting up your release method in the Manage Releases tab.

The release date can only be set up to 30 days in the future and will reflect the user's local time zone.

Worlds with a release date will be moved to the [Scheduled] status after review approval.

In the [Scheduled] state, the world is not exposed as it has not actually been released.

If you want to release the world without waiting for the release date, you can use the Immediate Publishing feature to release the world.

Released Country

On the Manage Release tab, you can set release countries to release your world only in certain countries.

Users in countries excluded from the launch will not be able to view/access the world.

Release Notification

The Manage Releases tab has added the Send Notifications option, which allows you to send notifications when a world is released.

Depending on the version status of the world, notifications will be sent to different audiences.

Newly released worlds: Send notifications to all followers
Updated worlds: Send notifications to users who have played the world within 30 days.

Send notifications option can only be set for all country releases, and for worlds that are only available in certain countries, don't send notification option is automatically selected.

Release notifications may be sent up to 10 minutes later, depending on the situation.

Submitting for review

Once you're satisfied that your World is implemented as intended, hit Submit Review in the top right corner of the details screen to submit it.

Once submitted, you will no longer be able to edit the information and files in that version. If there are any changes you would like to make, please click [Cancel Submission] in the More menu to the right of the file.

If your World was created for promotional purposes, you will need to inform ZEPETO Studio when uploading it. For more information, please refer to the Promoting your brand or product guide.

The review process takes up to 2 business weeks, excluding weekends and holidays.

Review complete - Release

If it's finally determined that your World is ready to launch, the review is complete and you'll be automatically moved to the launch status.
Once released, your World will be visible to all users of the ZEPETO App and will be available for users to access at any time.

If you want to stop the visibility of your World, you can use the Unreleased feature in the More menu on the right side of the released version.
Once you've taken your World offline, you can relaunch it without any further modifications.

If you want to check your released World directly in the ZEPETO App, click the [Access ZEPETO World] link in the More menu on the right side of the released version.
This will trigger an alarm in your ZEPETO App account that will take you to your published World.

To edit a World that has already been released, you need to update the version.

Review Complete - Rejected

Your World may be rejected if it violates the review guidelines or has playability issues.

You can see the reason for the rejection by clicking the status value link in the Release Status.
If your World is rejected, you can request a review by saving a new copy of your World and following the same process as for a review.
