Facecode Guidelines

Welcome to the Face Store, a place where you can monetize your avatar customizations! Register your unique and personalized avatar customization, Face Codes, in the Face Store and sell them to ZEPETO users around the world.
What is FaceCode?
- FaceCode (FaceCode Items): A new customization category composed of blend shapes and color values of an avatar's face submitted by Face Creators.
FaceCode items appear as wearable items within ZEPETO services such as profiles, styles (currently worn) and can be purchased separately from the FaceCode avatar.
- FaceCode (FaceCode Avatar): Content submitted by FaceCode Creators, consisting of avatar presets, FaceCode items, and fashion items.
FaceCode Avatar = FaceCode Item + Avatar Type + Outfit Styling
- Face Store: A space for displaying and selling FaceCode-related content.
- Face Creator: A creator authorized to submit and sell FaceCodes.
- Face Creators are recruited through official events, including ZAC (ZEPETO Avatar Contest), and must join ZEPETO Studio.
- Face Creators cannot purchase FaceCode items.

Submit your facecode

- Only authorized Face Creators can submit and sell FaceCodes.
- Face Creators are recruited through official events, including ZAC (ZEPETO Avatar Contest), and must join ZEPETO Studio.
STEP 1 : Customize your avatar
Customize your unique avatar.
STEP 2 : Prepare to submit your facecode
Go to Face Store > My Page (MY) > click the 'Submit' button at the bottom right.
Check the avatar displayed on the screen and if there are no issues, click the 'Next' button.
Enter the information for the FaceCode you are submitting.
- Thumbnail Pose: Select the avatar pose to be displayed on the thumbnail.
- Title: Enter the name of the FaceCode.
- Up to 25 bytes including spaces.
- Letters, numbers, and emoji combinations are allowed (no special characters).
- Prohibited words are not allowed.
- Title (English): Enter the name of the FaceCode in English.
- Price: Enter the desired price between 9 ZEMs (min) and 100 ZEMs (max).
- Skin: Select the skin color of the avatar you are submitting. If the corresponding skin color is not available, select the multi-color option on the far right.
- Face Style: Select one category that best describes your FaceCode.

- Theme: Select up to 3 theme keywords that best describe the FaceCode.

| Party | A FaceCode with a glamorous style suitable for parties or award ceremonies |
| Princess | A FaceCode with a style reminiscent of a princess |
| Prince | A FaceCode with a style reminiscent of a prince |
| Vampire | A FaceCode expressing or reflecting the image of a vampire |
| Cool Tone | A FaceCode with a cool-toned makeup or style |
| Warm Tone | A FaceCode with a warm-toned makeup or style |
| Hijab | A FaceCode with styles related to hijab and traditional Islamic clothing |
| Gothic | A FaceCode with gothic look style including black clothing, piercings, and tattoos |
STEP 3 : Submit your facecode
After entering the information, press the 'DONE' button and after loading, you will be directed to the list on your My Page (MY). Your submitted FaceCode will be displayed as 'Uploading' and will be registered after internal approval (this may take up to 10 minutes).

The following conditions must be met for successful submission and registration of the FaceCode. Please make sure to check before submitting.
Prohibited words in the title: Ensure that the FaceCode name does not contain prohibited words.
Appropriate price range: Ensure that the FaceCode price is set between 9 ZEMs and 100 ZEMs.
Valid permissions: Check your FaceCreator permission.
Submission limit: You can submit up to 5 FaceCodes per day. Check the daily submission limit.
FaceCode items in use: Avatars wearing FaceCode items cannot be submitted as new FaceCodes. Check the items in use.
Wearing prohibited items: Avatars wearing the following items cannot be submitted as new FaceCodes. Check the items in use.
- Lucky Box items
- Limited edition items
- Premium items
- Items limited for purchase in Worlds
- Discontinued items
- The following animation style avatar lenses (2 types)
Managing facecodes
- Modify FaceCode price and status
You can manage your submitted FaceCodes in Face Store > My Page (MY).
You can edit the information, activate/deactivate the sale, delete FaceCodes that are prohibited from sales, and learn about the reason for rejection by pressing the settings button in the upper right corner.
Deactivated FaceCodes cannot be purchased, but can be worn and modified.

You can check your FaceCode sales history and request payment in ZEPETO Studio. For more details, please refer to the Payment Request section.
FaceCode Sales Prohibition and Penalty Guidelines
FaceCodes are displayed as 'Uploading' immediately after submission and are registered after internal approval. The following conditions must be met for successful submission and registration of the FaceCode. Please make sure to check the conditions before submitting.
- Prohibited words in the title: Ensure that the FaceCode name does not contain prohibited words.
- Appropriate price range: Ensure that the FaceCode price is set between 9 ZEMs and 100 ZEMs.
- Valid permissions: Check your Face Creator permission.
- Submission limit: You can submit up to 5 FaceCodes per day. Check the daily submission limit.
- FaceCode items in use: Avatars wearing FaceCode items cannot be submitted as new FaceCodes. Check the items in use.
- Wearing prohibited items: Avatars wearing item that are not available for purchase, such as Lucky Box items, limited edition items, etc. cannot be submitted as FaceCodes. Please check the items in use.
FaceCode Sales Prohibition and Penalty Guidelines
All FaceCodes are checked for compliance with ZEPETO Community and Content Guidelines even after registration. Even if a FaceCode does not violate the ZEPETO Community and Content Guidelines, it may still be prohibited from being registered if ZEPETO Studio deems it inappropriate. It may also be prohibited from being sold even after being used by users or sold.
- Cases of sales ban: FaceCodes that fall into the following cases may be restricted even after registration.

| Duplicate submission of the same FaceCode | If a FaceCode is identical to or perceived as very similar to an already registered FaceCode by the same creator. |
| Incorrect registration of FaceCode | If a FaceCode is registered incorrectly due to errors or procedural issues. |
| FaceCode causing discomfort or misunderstanding | If the appearance of the FaceCode has elements that cause discomfort or misunderstanding, restricts smooth service use, or if it is deemed created for purposes other than normal sales. -Examples: Expressions that can be mistaken for glitches/errors, excessively disproportionate body, expressions conveying sensitive messages, etc. |
- Revocation of Face Creator Qualification: If activities corresponding to the following cases are detected, the Face Creator qualification may be revoked without prior warning.

| Imitation of another person’s FaceCode | If the FaceCode’s characteristics and item composition are judged to imitate another person’s FaceCode. If the copyright of a Face Code you created is infringed, refer to the help section and submit a content takedown request to Support Center. |
| Trading of Face Creator accounts | Face Creator accounts that are traded or transferred to others may have their qualifications revoked. |
| Intentional repetitive submission of banned FaceCodes | Intentionally repeating submissions that fall into the category of FaceCode cases prohibited from sales. |
If your FaceCode has been prohibited from being sold, please use the in-app appeal function.
